Are motorcycles really as efficient as people claim they are? While motorcycles may be better on gasoline consumption than regular, mid-size vehicles, they are most certainly not the most practical choice when it comes to choosing a mode of transportation. Rather, whether or not you've made a good investment choice with a motorcycle depends more on where you live.
If you live in an area where the nearest store is over twenty miles away, motorcycles may not be the best option. Additionally, if you live somewhere where the climate is always damp and rainy, then you may need to look to a different means of transportation. However, if you live in a large metropolitan area such as New York City or San Francisco, you'll probably see a ton of people with motorcycles when it's nice out.

Recently, I moved into a new apartment. While it is much bigger and is very beautiful, there is also a lot of noise once you exit onto the main roadways. As it turns out, all of the road noise is coming from the fact that there are construction crews rebuilding and expanding the main road just outside of the apartment complex. But this isn't the only area that is receiving attention.
Over the past several years, North Carolina has become the center of attention because more and more people are moving here than ever before. Because of this sudden influx of people, the old roads that once served their purpose are being broken down and re-built to accommodate the large swell of people who are now living in various pockets of space. While construction crews are noisy, this is a more accepted form of noise because it is tangible. You can go out at any point during a regular business day and find construction crews hard at work.

Jean-Pierre Wimille was born in Paris on February 26,1908. His father was a motor sports enthusiast who wrote for the Petit Parisien newspaper. However, Jean-Pierre's role model was Robert Benoist who was France's star driver at that time. Jean-Pierre began his racing career when he was 22. He started out as a wild driver but his victories soon identified him as a rising star on the racing horizon. In 1933, Robert Benoist, who led the Bugatti team and who had been Wimille's inspiration hired Jean-Pierre to drive for them. However, the company was having difficulty competing in Grand Prix racing, with the new kids on the block, Mercedes and Auto Union, and decided to concentrate on sports car racing. So in 1937 Wimille found himself teamed with Benoist in the 24 Hours of LeMans. They won the event and Wimille became the fourth driver in auto racing history to win the 24 Hours of LeMans on his first attempt.

Mario Andretti and his twin brother Aldo were born on February 28, 1940 in Montona, Isria that was then part of Italy. His father, Luigi, worked as a farm administrator. At the end of World War ll, Isria was separated from Italy and made part of Yugoslavia under the Treaty of Paris. So in 1948 Andretti's family joined the Isrian exodus to a camp in Lucca, Italy. In 1955 they came to the United States of America and went to live in Nazareth, Pennsylvania. Andretti's interest in cars began at a very early age as he piloted his toy wooden cars along the streets of his hometown in Italy.

People all over the country have different hobbies. Some people collect model trains, some people collect books, baseball cards, movies, music, or bobble heads. One of the most popular hobbies around today is the collection of die cast cars. Die cast cars are popular because not only can the person with the hobby build the model that they have purchased but they can put that model in a glass case and display it at their house or office. They could also construct the model, frame it, and then sell it for a tiny profit.

Driving and texting has turned into such an issue that the state of North Carolina has now banned it completely from being allowed. In fact, if a police officer catches you doing this while you drive, you will get a ticket for it. There's no talking your way out of that one!
Admittedly, when I got my new cell phone a couple of months back, whenever the light would turn red, I was sitting there checking my email and/or responding to an email via text. I didn't realize it, but I became so engrossed several times at the lights, that I actually had people honking at me to let me know that the light had changed. It didn't take me long to realize that I could not drive and text at all. Instead, at the warning of my mother, I now wait until I am parked and/or out of my car before I look at my phone to text on it. I can barely even walk and text, so why should I be driving and texting?!
